Mental Health Awareness Week - 15th-21st May 2023
10/05/2023
Mental Health Awareness Week is happening from May 15 to May 21.
One of the most prevalent mental health issues we can experience is anxiety. This year, anxiety is the theme for Mental Health Awareness Week 2023.
The Mental Health Foundation conducted a recent survey around stress, anxiety, and hopelessness over personal finances and found out that about a quarter of respondents said they felt so anxious that it prevented them from doing the things they wanted to do sometimes or all the time. Six out of ten adults report having these feelings occasionally. On the plus side, anxiety can be easier to control.
Support is always available in the borough, and the NHS talking therapies are here to help you. Please click the link below to download the document for more information.
